When I was doing my A-level art so many trips around the sun ago I was let out on my own to go sketching. So from the West End I took a bus and a metro to North Shields and went down to the fish Quay and awkwardly sketched away. Who knew I would eventually live there and revisit this location so many years later and paint this scene. Its simply called "Shields" The original painting is oil on board 80cm 40cm.
