I was taken by this view of the Ouseburn after finishing up from “the late show”. The view is pointing towards the toffee factory just down from the brinkburn st brewery, and what struck me most was the chimney, which was lit in this glorious magenta light It was such a peaceful scene, and I thought I would take the inspiration from the impressionists. After visiting the musee d'orsay in Paris, I was absorbed by them. This cityscape painting is available in various sizes. The original painting is oil on board.
