This is a painting reflecting better times when we were allowed to roam freely throught the city at night. We could pop into a cafe for drink and realx just watching the owrld go by. This cafe is in the heart of Newcastle by its famous Greys  Monument. The listed buildings dissapear down the left side down Greys Street with the Theatre Royal lit and open for business. Strong lights and reflections add to the atmosphere.
